It’s time to get steaming as Hotboozapalooza returns to the capital, a one-night bash dedicated to hot cocktails where punters receive four hot cocktails and heaps of entertainment for just £20 (steal!).
Taking place on Wednesday December 12 at Night Tales in Hackney, tickets to the one-night anti-mulled-wine festival get you four delectable hot and boozy drinks (read all about them here) as well as red hot disco tunes, and a whole host of immersive entertainment. Feast your eyes on all the H-O-T things happening at Hotboozapalooza.
Stuff yourself silly with boozy doughnuts
Glenfiddich whisky will be plying lucky punters with cups of Hot Scotch (mmm... scotch!), and they’ll also be encouraging even more indulgence with every single hot cocktail they serve. With each tipple, a miniature whisky sour or salted caramel doughnut will be dished up, crafted by chef Adam Handling. ‘Tis the season to forget about your waistline and get on the carbs, after all.
Experience the Northern Lights without leaving London
Immerse yourself fully in the frosty season with Reyka, a premium Icelandic vodka made from glacial water. The brand will be bringing an immersive installation to one of Night Tales’ edgy railway arches – a reimagining of the Northern Lights. Get an awesome aurora selfie and then warm up with an Arctic Screwdriver, a toasty Reyka vodka cocktail containing clementine for full-on festiveness.
Turn your hand at table-top curling
Shuffle on over to see Hendrick’s gin’s party station. Masters of the curious and peculiar, they’ll be bringing a miniature version of the winter Olympic sport, curling, to Hotboozapalooza (fun fact, Hendrick’s is distilled near where all the world’s curling stones are sourced from). Battle it out on a table-top twist on the grand game with A Dreich Day Punch in hand – a hot gin drink they’ll be serving in collaboration with top London cocktail bar, Punch Room at the London Edition.
Get geeky on a vintage arcade game
As well as receiving a Funkimonkey cocktail – whisky, coffee, chestnut liqueur and a peanut butter and white chocolate foam (OMG!) – visitors to Hotboozapalooza can get nerdy on a retro arcade gaming machine being brought to the party by Monkey Shoulder. Expect a load of games to select from, ideal for a bit of monkeying around before you hit the dance floor.
