Next summer, London’s Mighty Hoopla festival will be a decade old. The queer-focused festival came from humble beginnings – its first edition in 2016 was held at Butlin’s in Bognor Regis and had just 9,000 attendees. It moved to the capital the following year and now London’s festival calendar wouldn’t be the same without it.

Today, Mighty Hoopla is Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ music festival, welcoming 200 pop, drag and dance acts and 60,000 attendees each year. Its lineup is always a who’s who of gay icons. Last year, for example, Lily Allen, the Scissor Sisters, Alexandra Burke, Heather Small and Cascada all graced its stages. Next summer promises similarly legendary performers. For 2027, Mighty Hoopla will be headlined by none other than Robyn and The Pussycat Dolls.

Here’s everything you need to know about Mighty Hoopla’s 10th anniversary edition and how to get tickets.

When is Mighty Hoopla 2027?

Next year’s Mighty Hoopla is taking place at Brockwell Park on Saturday June 5 and Sunday June 6 2027.

What’s been said about the festival?

Co-founder Glyn Fussell commented on the festival’s upcoming anniversary: ‘These past ten years have been the biggest privilege of my life. In a world that can often feel hostile and scary, we have created a celebration of life at its most joyful at Hoopla. It blows my mind daily, and I take protecting it in all its glorious technicolour more seriously than anything.

‘If I could look back at that young, queer, pop-obsessed kid and tell them this would be possible, I wouldn't have believed it. That is why we won't stop creating this beautiful space for you all to come and play.’

More festival announcements: Phoebe Bridgers is the first headliner for All Points East 2027.

And: Bon Jovi is playing BST Hyde Park 2027.
