Spritz season is upon us! In this scorching London heat, few drinks taste better than bitter Aperol, fruity Sarti or zesty Campari blended with gently fizzing prosecco, served on ice in a goblet the size of your face. Ah, we can taste it now.

You hardly need an excuse to indulge in a few spritzes this weekend, but if you need a little extra persuasion, here it is: this Saturday is National Spritz Day. On August 1 bars, restaurants and pubs across the city will be paying homage to the spritz in all its forms with exclusive discounts and freebies. Some will be extending their deals across the whole weekend, others the whole month.

So, we’ve compiled a list of all the best places to get a spritz of yours for cheap or, if you show up on time, completely on the house. Thirsty? Let’s get into it.
