We’ve all had visions of what we would do if we ever won an Omaze prize draw. We’ve all pictured how we would wake up inside our multi-million pound home, float around the shiny open-plan kitchen and swan about the immaculately landscaped garden, unburdened by a mortgage. Now, the chance to make that dream a reality has come back around.
Omaze has returned with another house up for grabs here in London. This time around, the property is in Mapesbury in the northwest of the city and is worth a mega £3.5 million.
The three-storey, five-bed Victorian home features three bathrooms, a generous home office and an open plan kitchen with gorgeous stained-glass windows and oak herringbone flooring. Elsewhere there’s a living room in duckegg blue, a snug for cosy reading afternoons, a playroom for kids and a luxurious master bedroom with its own dressing room and bathroom. Outside in the 320ft garden you’ll find a swanky wellness studio, two ice baths, a tree house and a zip line.
It sits close to the lush green Mapesbury Dell with the Jubilee line a short walk away at Willesden Green station. So, you’d be less than an hour from central London.
As ever with Omaze, the house comes mortgage-free, with all stamp duty and legal fees covered. The winner can also choose to keep all £195,000 worth of furnishings already there. To top it all off, you get an additional £250,000 in cash to help you settle in. What you do with the property is up to you. You could move in yourself, rent it out (estimated £12,000 per month) or sell it and become a cash multi-millionaire.
You’ve got until Sunday September 27 to enter the draw online, or Tuesday September 29 if you want to do it by post. A portion of the money raised from entries (at least £1m, guaranteed) will go towards the London Air Ambulance Charity.
