Walking out of Tottenham Court Road station, you can’t miss Outernet. It’s that large gold cube building right opposite the exit with the enormous LED screens. Those screens are just the tip of the iceberg, though. Below ground, Outernet hosts an entertainment venue that is the largest built in London since the 1940s.

Since it was built in 2022, that venue has been known as HERE. But going forward, it’s got a brand new. name. HERE at Outernet is now... Outernet Live.

The new name is part of a strategic switch-up at the venue that’ll see it more closely aligned with the wider Outernet district, which includes the The Lower Third in the basement and the The Now Building with its huge four-story, 360-degree screens. That means that artists and brands will have more opportunities to use the spaces and giant screens across the whole complex.

Some of the acts lined up for Outernet Live over the next few months include Primal Scream, Young Miko, Two Shell and Arcane Roots.

Phillip O’Ferrall, the chief exec at Outernet said that music fans can now expect ‘more underplays and specials shows like Primal Scream and an increased use of our screens to support artists to do amazing things when they perform’. He added: ‘We want artists and their fans to have the very best time at Outernet Live and this really is a rebirth of our music venue.’

On top of the rebrand, all ticketing operations at Outernet are going to be taken over by Ticketmaster in the coming weeks.
