The Bear is coming to London. Not the sleek, Michelin star-pursuing restaurant of the soon-to-arrive final season, but the beloved sub-serving hatch-in-the-wall diner of season 1. Oh, and everyone’s invited.

On Sunday and Monday, June 28-29, Disney+ is transforming a corner of Shoreditch’s Truman Brewery at 11 Dray Walk into Chicago’s most famous fictional TV restaurant.

The pop-up with be cunningly positioned behind a standard billboard where a live kitchen will be operational over those two days. Bystanders can enjoying the sight of high-pressure kitchen in full effect, and even grab one of those tasty Chicago-style sandwiches that will be familiar to fans of The Bear.

On the menu is a slow-roasted beef sandwich or a roasted portobello mushroom sandwich as a vegan option.

These are the timings:

Sunday, June 28:

12.30-1pm – first hatch opening for service
2-3pm – second service
4-5pm – third service

Monday, June 29:

1.15pm-3pm – first service, with surprise chef
4-5pm – second service
6-7pm – third service

There’s a thousand subs a day being given away. Get there early to avoid disappointment.
