If you love giant ball pits, museum sleepovers and still drink booze through a straw, we have some good news for your inner kidult: the world’s largest inflatable fun-run is back. And after a 10,000 strong attendance last year, the organisers have laid on two extra dates.

Gung-Ho! is a gigantic course made up of 11 of the world’s biggest inflatables and contains enough air to inflate over 100 million footballs. The idea is to help nostalgic runners relive the days of ‘Fun House‘, ‘It’s a Knockout’ and ‘Takeshi’s Castle’, which means it should be just as hilarious to watch as it will be to join in. This year participants can expect a 5k stretch of inflatable mazes, bouncy walls and tricky new obstacles.

But it’s not just an excuse to make a tit of yourself for fun – if you pledge to raise £100 for the event’s national charity partner, Children in Need, you can nab yourself a free ticket for the course. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive a bib with your race number on it and a Gung-Ho! T-shirt and headband. You must be at least 4ft tall, but the good news is, spectators can watch for free. It’s already on course to sell out, so book your tickets fast – we don’t want any FOMO-induced tantrums, do we?

Gung-Ho! will be blown up at Ruskin Park on Saturday April 28, at Finsbury Park on Saturday July 28 and at Crystal Palace Park on Saturday September 22.
