1. The Representation of the People Act was passed 100 years ago, giving some women the right to vote in the UK for the first time. Take a closer look at some of the less well known suffragettes whose perseverance made it all happen at 'Votes for Women', an exhibition from the Museum of London, which opens today. Entry is free from 10am.

2. Mason and Company Beer Bar and Kitchen host this special tutored craft beer tasting, 'Ones to Watch Tap Takeover', showcasing some of the great breweries in the UK and Ireland they think you should be looking out for.  Tickets cost £11.37 and include five beers.

3. Genesis Cinema is screening 'Barbarella', the sci-fi that sees Jane Fonda play a seemingly sexually liberated female lead, as part of it's Women in Film season. Head there for 6:30pm to catch a pre-show chat about Jane Fonda and the lasting influence of Barbarella as a cult figure. Tickets are £10.
