Humans, you’ve had your fun. It is now the era of the capitalist canine. The growing phenomenon of the doggy-themed Christmas market is sweeping London with its ‘pet pawtrait’ puns and artisanal puppy biscuits. But it’s not all about shifting four-sleeved cashmere jumpers – some are raising money for animal charities. In the next three weeks alone, Winter Waggingland, Doggy Style Christmas Market and the Santa Paws Christmas Fair for All Dogs Matter are all popping up across the city. Happy howlidays!
