San Francisco drag legends Peaches Christ and Heklina join forces for this musical parody of the bizarre 1981 film ‘Mommie Dearest’, a deeply strange biographical drama – commonly cited as one of the worst films of all time – that saw actress Christin Crawford portray her adoptive mother Joan as an abusive manipulator. Here, Peaches stars as an aging drag icon who adopts a new drag daughter and promises her the earth: but the reality is bitterly disappointing.
