Anyone in search of a big, glam Soho New Year's Eve will be drawn to W Hotel's bash like a moth to a flame – or rather like a moth to a big sparkly disco ball, since one of this venue's attractions is Europe's largest mirror ball. The hotel's Perception Bar is a dimly lit and very swish hangout spot on the edge of Leicester Square, meaning it's perfectly located if you want to duck out and midnight and sing Auld Lang Syne with the crowds outside. Tickets are a fairly steep £195 (celebration only) and £295 (dinner and celebration) but that does include a £95 bar tab to fritter away on cocktails and bevvies as you dance the night away.
