A Night Under the Stars

The annual shindig to raise funds for Victoria-based homeless charity The Passage sees Edward Gardner conducting the Orion Orchestra, with mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly, baritone Duncan Rock and violinist Esther Yoo. They celebrate the landscape and legends of the British Isles in music by Vaughan Williams, Mendelssohn, Butterworth and Walton. Plus, a new arrangement of Purcell’s ‘Fairest Isle’ for Connolly and Streetwise Opera (performers with direct experience of homelessness).
