Spanish and Latin flavours creep into this BBC Symphony Orchestra concert with Spaniard Josep Pons conducting a programme that features Falla's 'Nights in the Gardens of Spain' and 'The Three Cornered Hat: Suite No 2'; as well as Piazzolla's 'Aconcagua' Concerto for Bandoneon; and Ginastera's 'Dances from Estancia'. With pianist Javier Perianes and bandoneon player Pablo Mainetti. (Note: ticket holders are also admitted to a pre-concert talk in Cinema 3 at 6pm. Places are limited for this talk so arrive early to avoid disappointment. The concert is part of BBC Family Music Intro, an introduction to concert-going for families.)
