Byrd's 'The Great Service'

Choral ensemble The Cardinall's Musick directed by Andrew Carwood (winners of the 2010 Gramophone Award for a Recording of the Year) presents William Byrd's monumental 'Great Service', interspersed with student performances of the composer's Fantasias. (As part of a special study-day at the Academy, the group will also work with choral conducting and organ students on the music of William Byrd.)
