Béla Bartók's monumental 'Cantata Profana' (based on a Romanian ballad sung at the time of the winter solstice); the richly rhythmic 'Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste'; and Igor Stravinsky's visceral and seminal ballet score 'The Rite of Spring'.
