Time Out says

The world premiere of John Barber's 'Consider the Lilies', a dramatic cantata (with libretto by Peter Cann) celebrating the courage, resourcefulness and joy people can summon up in the face of cruelty and despair. This event is inspired by Woven Gold, a group of musicians from around the world, all clients of the Helen Bamber Foundation, who have come to the UK to seek refuge from extreme cruelty in their own countries. Woven Gold, Helen Bamber Foundation Choir, Choir and Choral Scholars of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Foundling Museum Children's Choir, Sarum Orchestra under Howard Moody, with Elin Manahan Thomas (soprano), Yolanda Grant-Thompson (mezzo-soprano), Michael Chance (countertenor) and Omar Ebrahim (baritone). (In aid of the Helen Bamber Foundation.)
