Debussy, Ravel and Falla

The BBC Philharmonic under Juanjo Mena performs Debussy's Gigues from Images; Ravel's Rapsodie espagnole; Debussy's Rondes de printemps from Images; Ravel's 'Alborado del gracioso'; Falla's 'Nights in the Gardens of Spain'; and Debussy's 'Ibéria' from Images. (Note: at 5.30pm and 9.50pm there are Proms Plus events at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Albert Hall respectively. At 5.30pm Stephen Johnson explores the inner workings of the colourful world of Debussy's Images with the Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sian Edwards. Then, at 9.50pm, young artists perform poetry and music in the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room.)
