The baritone Gareth John (the most recent winner of the Kathleen Ferrier Award) sings Schubert’s great lyrical song-cycle 'Die schöne Müllerin', accompanied by pianist Finn Downie-Dear.
(The Sutton House Music Society presents this concert in the exquisite and intimate surroundings of a Tudor house in Hackney, which was built in 1535 and is now run by the National Trust. Concert-goers are allowed to view it free before the performance.)
