The Purcell Singers directed by Mark Ford perform Brahms's magnificent 'Ein Deutsches Requiem' (first performed in London in 1871) in a special adaptation by the composer for piano duet. This arrangement became known as the ‘London Version’, played here by the Longfordbrown piano duo, Lindy Tennent-Brown and James Longford, plus soloists Mary Nelson (soprano) and Daniel Grice (baritone).
