Elgar's 'The Apostles'

Elgar's oratorio 'The Apostles' is presented by the Hallé Choir, Hallé Youth Choir, London Philharmonic Choir and Hallé under Sir Mark Elder, with soprano Rebecca Evans (Blessed Virgin/Angel Gabriel), mezzo-soprano Alice Coote (Mary Magdalene), tenor Paul Groves (St John/Narrator), baritone Jacques Imbrailo (Jesus), bass-baritone David Kempster (St Peter) and bass Clive Bayley (Judas). The Chorus of Apostles are tenors: Thomas Cameron, Thomas Kelly, Timothy Langston, Thomas Morss and Adam Player; with basses: Stefan Berkieta, Matthew Kellett, Graham McCusker and Daniel Shelvey.
