Music, Classical and opera

Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.

Ensemble Lunaire performs:

Debussy: 'Prélude à l'après midi d'un faune' (version for 16 instruments)

Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante in E flat for violin, viola and orchestra

Elliot Galvin: new commission

Copland: 'Appalachian Spring' (original version for 13 instruments)

(Ensemble Lunaire is a student run project featuring students from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Royal College of Music.  The aim is to perform rarely heard works of the chamber orchestra repertoire.  This includes pieces that have been scaled down from the symphony orchestra to only a hand full of players.)
