A unique cinematic and musical event – a special film screening of FW Murnau's epic 1926 silent masterpiece 'Faust', with the premiere of Aphrodite Raickopouloua's new score played by the Philharmonia Orchestra under Benjamin Wallfisch, with pianist Gabriela Montero. The Faust legend tells of the man who sold his soul to the Devil in return for youth and knowledge and here stars Emil Jannings as the howling Mephisto, Camilla Horn with her startling acting debut as the innocent Gretchen, and the celebrated Gösta Ekman in the title role. (Introduced by actor Hugh Grant. No interval.)
