Gershwin: Rhapsody in Blue

The London Symphony Orchestra under François-Xavier Roth goes all-American, journeying through infectious Cuban dance rhythms, cool jazz influences and cowboy gun battles. Gershwin's 'Cuban Overture'; 'Rhapsody in Blue' (orch Grofé) is presented alongside the world premiere of a Saxophone Concerto by Tim Garland; and the suite from Copland's ballet 'Billy the Kid'.
