Time Out says

Escapism and trollish energy mingle together in Grieg's 1887 Suite, 'Peer Gynt', which captures the mystery of the far North. Kristjan Järvi conducts the London Symphony Orchestra, with violinist Julia Fischer in a programme that also includes two other Scandinavian masterpieces: Nielsen's rumbustious 'Aladdin' Suite; and Sibelius's ever-popular Violin Concerto.

(Note: at 6pm there is a pre-concert Guildhall Artists performance in the Barbican Hall. Soprano Samantha Grawford, mezzo soprano Mae Heydorn and pianist Gavin Roberts perform Sibelius Songs. There is also a performance of the Nielsen Wind Quintet.)
