Time Out says

In his penultimate opera, Handel demonstrates such complete mastery of the form that he is even able to subvert it, as what appears to be the classic love triangle between the heroic Imeno and the lover Tirinto and Rosmere is subverted in a wholly unexpected way. The opera features some of Handel's most arrestingly beautiful music, including vivid solos and duos, the glorious climactic trio ‘Consolami, mio bene’ and a number of short, tuneful choruses. Laurence Cummings conducts the London Handel Orchestra, with singers from Royal College of Music International Opera School: Filipa Van Eck/ Hannah Sandison (Rosmene), Annie Fredriksson/ Tai Oney (Tirinto), Louise Alder and Katherine Crompton (Clomiri) Morgan Pearse Luke D Williams (Imeneo) and Timothy Nelson/ Bradley Travis (Argenio). The director is Paul Curran; set designs by Gary McCann.
