Time Out says

The current intake of Jette Parker Young Artists (of the Royal Opera House) once again make the main stage their own for their annual summer performance of opera excerpts. Featuring nine singers, a pianist, a répétiteur, conductors and a stage director. The performance will be staged, with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House in the pit, and consists of selections from operas by Mozart, Donizetti, Tchaikovsky and Puccini, selected to give the Young Artists an opportunity to perform roles which they have covered during the Season.

The performance starts with a scene from Act I of Mozart's 'Die Zauberflöte', with Serbian soprano Dušica Bijelić, British tenor David Butt Philip and Brazilian baritone Michel de Souza as Pamina, Tamino and Papageno. Followed by two Donizetti duets, from Act I of 'Anna Bolena', with Lithuanian mezzo-soprano Justina Gringyte and Korean bass Jihoon Kim as Giovanna Seymour and Enrico and Act II of 'L’elisir d’amore' with Portuguese soprano Susana Gaspar and Argentinean tenor Pablo Bemsch as Adina and Nemorino.

Then, Dušica Bijelić, Polish mezzo-soprano Hanna Hipp, Pablo Bemsch and British baritone Ashley Riches perform the roles of Tatyana, Olga, Lensky and Eugene Onegin in a scene from Act I of 'Eugene Onegin', and finally, all nine singers take part in a scene from Act II of 'La rondine'.

Stage Director on the Programme, Pedro Ribeiro, directs and David Syrus, Paul Wingfield and Michele Gambac conduct. Ballet pianist Helen Nicholas plays the continuo for the Act II duet for 'L’elisir d’amore' and plays the piano solo in Mozart’s concert aria ‘Ch’io mi scordi di te’, sung by mezzo-soprano Hanna Hipp. The lighting designer is James Simpson.
