Julian Lloyd Webber is joined by his family and friends to celebrate his sixtieth birthday and a lifetime of music-making. Music includes Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto; Gioachino Rossini's Overture, to 'William Tell'; William S Lloyd Webber's Benedictus for violin and organ; Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'All I ask of you', ('Phantom of the Opera'); and Eric Whitacre's New work for cello and strings (world premiere). Performed by Philharmonia Orchestra under Christopher Warren-Green, with cellist Julian Lloyd Webber, violinist Tasmin Little, cellist Jiaxin Cheng, Danielle de Niese (soprano), composer/pianist Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, Eric Whitacre conductor/composer, In Harmony Children's Orchestra, Royal College of Music massed cellos; and duets with jazz singer Dame Cleo Laine.
