Find out more about Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina's life and music as the LSO celebrates her eightieth birthday. The day begins with access to an LSO rehearsal and Artist Conversation with violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter (for whom Gubaidulina composed 'In tempus praesens') at Barbican Hall; followed at 2.30pm by an afternoon session at LSO St Luke's with LSO principals David Alberman and Tim Hugh performing Gubaidulina's duo 'Rejoice!' for violin and cello, plus a screening of the film 'A Violin Concerto for Anne-Sophie Mutter'.
