A ramble through the countryside, enjoying and reflecting the music of the world's greatest natural songsters. The wide-ranging programme includes a vividly avian assortment of vocal pieces and instrumental works by Monteverdi, Quagliati, Pesenti, Frescobaldi, Merula, Van Eyck and Marini, among others, and ends with Etienne Moulinié's Concert des différents oiseaux.
