Maazel: Mahler Cycle 2011 (First Symphony)

Lorin Maazel launches his cycle of Mahler symphonies in grand style, conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra in a programme of Mahler's towering Symphony No 1 ('Titan'), coupled with his first song cycle, 'Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen', that shares much of its material with the symphony.
