The pianist Finn Downie-Dear presents ‘Moine et Voyou: a Poulenc Celebration'. The director of the Mondfleck Ensemble brings a new programme for voice, violin, oboe and piano, featuring Poulenc’s early songs, his song cycle 'Tel jour, telle nuit', his oboe sonata, and works by Ravel, Chabrier and Satie.
(The Sutton House Music Society presents this concert in the exquisite and intimate surroundings of a Tudor house in Hackney, which was built in 1535 and is now run by the National Trust. Concert-goers are allowed to view it free before the performance, at 2pm.)
