A celebration of the music of Moondog (aka blind New York street musician and beat poet Louis T Hardin, who favoured Viking garb) plus an original work on the theme of monsters and things that go bump in the night. The Guildhall Saxophone, Percussion and Recorder Ensembles perform begin with a piece written for the Hall One space, moving on to a rousing performance of the music of Moondog: 'Bird's Lament', 'Sandalwood', 'Singlefoot', 'Dog Trot', 'New Amsterdam', 'Mother's Whistler', 'Viking I' and Chaconne in G.. (Look out for the Moondog workshop in the foyer, where you can create your own Moondog viking helmet.)
