The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain under Vasily Petrenko performs Varèse's 'Tuning Up'; Nico Muhly's 'Gait' (BBC Commission, London Premiere); Messiaen's 'Turangalîla' Symphony; and Anna Meredith's 'HandsFree'. (Note: at 5.30pm and 10pm there are Proms Plus events at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Albert Hall respectively.)
