Pop-Up Pianos: Pianocircus

Multiple piano ensemble Pianocircus performs three half-hour sets: at midday Errki-Sven Tüür's 'Transmission'; Lynne Plowman's 'Hall of Mirrors'; and Graham Fitkin's 'Totti'. Then, at 12.45pm, Martyn Harry's 'Digging Deeper'; Max Richter's 'Mazuzu Dream'; and Miguel del Aguila's 'Conga Line in Hell' (arr David Appleton). Finishing at 3.15pm with Steve Reich's Six Pianos. (Part of a weekend to celebrate the Lang Lang Inspires series of concerts, with a series of pop-up piano-inspired performances. With solos, massed piano jams and concerts, contemporary classical and jazz recitals, players of all ages and abilities share their passion for the piano.
