Seven Last Words

As Holy Week begins, the Elysian Singers perform James MacMillan's 'Seven Last Words from the Cross'. In a radical move, the movements of the MacMillan are interleaved with the narrative of the much simpler work of the same name by the early Baroque composer Henrich Schütz. Accompanied by a string orchestra.
