The Commission / Cafe Kafka

Two debut commissions from two young composers  - Elspeth Brooke and Francisco Coll. This is the first in a series of collaborations between the Royal Opera House, Aldeburgh Music and Opera North. Brooke's 'The Commission' is created with Complicite co-founder Annabel Arden, while Coll, who is a protoge of Thomas Ades, builds an usettling world from texts by Franz Kafka in 'Cafe Kafka'.
