The Metropolitan Opera’s music director, James Levine, returns to the podium to conduct a new production of Verdi's final opera, 'Falstaff'. The Shakespeare-based comedy is directed by Robert Carsen, and stars Ambrogio Maestri (Falstaff), Angela Meade (Alice Ford) and Stephanie Blythe (Mistress Quickly).
This is the first new production that the Met has presented since Zeffirelli’s production of 1964. With onstage action and behind-the-scenes interval interviews.
