A candlelit concert performance of Handel's three-act oratorio, telling the tragic tale of a beautiful Roman princess, Theodora, who is condemned to slavery as a temple prostitute for her Christian beliefs by Valens, the Roman President of Antioch. She is rescued by Didymus a Roman soldier who has converted to Christianity and has fallen in love with her.
