Wigmore Lates: In the Hall and the Bar

The young Californian pianist and composer Timothy Andres opens the new late-night series with Ted Hearne's Two movements from 'Parlor Diplomacy'; Timothy Andres's 'How can I live in your world of ideas'; Ingram Marshall's 'Authentic Presence'; Brahms's Intermezzo in B minor, Op 119 No 1; Timothy Andres's 'It takes a Long Time to be a Good Composer'; and Schumann's 'Vogel als Prophet', Op 82 No 7. (The one-hour recital in the Hall is followed by a free late-night musical soirée in the Wigmore bar – 11.15pm until late.
