Cable Street Community Gardens

Once a derelict brownfiled site, the Cable Street Community Gardens have (literally) blossomed into one of the capital's most succesful community projects, where more than 50 local gardeners grow a mix of organic flowers vegetables and fruit trees. The site also hosts ponds, a greenhouse and wildlife areas that attract newts, frogs, foxes and more.
