Just an all round fantastic place! Great food, good service and the most amazing atmosphere! Have had many random nights in the past there...

Food was pretty good but service was a little inattentive. They'd run out of a couple of beers on the menu. My chicken was covered in thick green sauce, which is what they meant by 'herby'. We had to walk to the till to pay the bill and I was charmed by Mo, the front of house chap. I like it that if you follow Al Amin on social media, they'll let you know what's going on in the area.

Family run restaurant with a huge heart. Going to this restaurant is something different and something unique, in the very best way possible. Good prices, great food every and very special service and vibe. Don't expect a fake waiter with a fake smile. Expect something real. Something unique. Something you want to share with others.

Al Amin is the most amazing place in Bethnal Green. Food's delicious, staff are friendly and prices are extremely reasonable.

The Al-Amin is a small business with a big reputation for its friendly staff and delicious food. I really like how it has kept most of its traditions (after eight mint chocolates, roses, 10% take away discount) and includes some new ones which enhance the overall experience of dining there (complimentary drinks, vintage music, £5 vouchers if you spend over £40). Customers really enjoy the Al-Amin vibe and it's all smiles inside. I am very pleased and proud with my brother and father (Al-Amin management) for maintaining their positive attitudes and working tirelessly and effectively to build the business in the way they have. My personal favourites at the Al-Amin are the tandoori chicken razala and dansak

Al Amin has it all - amazing food & service & the best atmosphere. It's well loved by in the know locals and that's why we return time and time again!

The best Resaurant I have ever been to. The owners onetime goes and takes time out to talk to the people and see if they like their service. Truly a fantastic place, my favorite from everywhere I have been to in the world.

You'll never go to Brick Lane for a curry again. Simply the BEST food and Mo is the best host in London.

Fantastic Good, great atmosphere, not just a restaurant, but a place to socialise with others! *Thumbs Up* :D

Our favourite Indian restaurant. Amazing food, always a friendly service and great value for money! Highly recommend the Stuffed Chicken Masala!

Great food in general and inexpensive , very warm and friendly atmosphere. If you come once you'll become a regular. At least that's what happend to me.

In an age when a new restaurant appears every week, there is something to be said for those that have stood the test of time. The Al Amin is most definitely a London institution. Delightfully tucked away a stone's throw from Cambridge Heath station, you'll be greeted by the friendliest of welcomes by the man of the house, Mo, whether it's your first or 500th time. The food is excellent, with some cracking land and fish curries on the menu, and the dining experience even better, in large part down to Mo and his able assistance Chief. Surrounded by a truly electic mix of Londers, some of which are second generation regulars, Mo will make you laugh and feel totally at home while you're sampling his father's curries that date back almost 30 years. If you want a truly original dining experience and to make new friends, look no further than the Al Amin. I go these days just to see Mo.

Not only do they have the best curry in all of London, the service is warm and inviting! It feels like you're having moms cooking at a restaurant! Love this place!

The food is amazing at Al Amin. Never fails to tantalise the taste buds! Wonderful friendly staff and cheap as chips! My favourite curry house!

Absolutely authentic food. The place is an institution and Mo is just the best!!

Firstly I have to mention the fantastic atmosphere in this delightful family run restaurant for over 30 years. They are clearly doing somehing right! The staff are very welcoming and attentive and it is obvious that you are treated warmly as a guest. The food is truly magnificent, just thinking about their butter chicken and korma is making my mouth water! Make no mistake, this is not just another 'Indian restaurant', the food clearly tastes significantly different and so much better to others. I love to escape the hussle of Brick lane to try this hidden gem!

Love this place. Huge fresh varied menu with uniquely charismatic service from Mo, Bethnal Green's most beloved maitre d'.

I've sampled most restaurants around these parts but nothing compares to Al Amin for quality of service and most importantly, quality of food.

First, it is run by the most lovely family with Dad in charge of the kitchen and Mo in charge of front of house. So it is a family event and it feels like it. Secondly the food is terrific ; easily the best in the area and light years ahead of all the trendy rubbish in Brick Lane. I love it to bits.

Excellent food and amazing service. The staff are very welcoming and make a great effort to meet all requests.

Brilliant good, great atmosphere and you'll be glad you came. Look out for the host he's a bit of a joker 😛

Best Indian restaurant by far in Bethnal Green, we have been using it for years and would never go anywhere else! Great value for money also

I love Al Amin! Been going there for 5 years, always get treated to the best welcome by resident character Mo. Best curry I've ever had in London and I've had a lot of curries!

I love this restaurant. Amazing food in an amazing location. Right outside Cambridge Heath Station and only a short walk from Bethnal Green Underground and Overground. Loads of awesome bars near by too so a great place to begin a night out. The staff are great (especially Bosh & Chief) and the owner (Mo) is a local legend. Best curry in Bethnal Green? Nope... Best curry in East London! :)

I can honestly say this is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to! Not to mention the excellent customer services and the food is amazing and very well priced!

A very cosy restaurant with amazing food. Excellent customer service and very good value for money. I strongly recommend it.

I've been eating here regularly for years and first came here almost thirty years ago. It's always been a good local and I am by far from being the only old relic that has been coming here this long!!
