It's had a massive revamp since February and it looks great now! I was invited to try the new menu and there's some absolute gems on their summer menu and the Gin cocktails are lethal and delicious!!!

I can't stop thinking about The Corn Chips and Spin Dip - The dip was an Artichoke and spinach and was super cheesy! YUM! ♡

The dessert sharer was to die for!!! and the staff were amazing. The only downside was the mains. The buttermilk chicken was inedibly salty and the mac and cheese with lobster table was chewy and overcooked. The starter and desserts were amazing though!

We ordered:

Gin Cocktails:

Served with lemon Zest and mint and Fever- Tree Indian Tonic

Served with strawberries and lime slices and Fever- Tree Elderflower Tonic

Served with lemon Zest and mint and Fever- Tree Indian Tonic

Served with lemon zest and vanilla pod and Fever- Tree Mediterranean Tonic

Served with rose petals and lemon slices and Fever- Tree Mediterranean Tonic

- A selection of corn chips with a homemade artichoke and spinach dip Crispy fried jumbo chicken wings - - (Buffalo hot or bourbon BBQ sauce) and dry rubbed Dingley Dell pork ribs slow roasted in bourbon BBQ sauce

Fresh egg macaroni and our smoked Applewood, cheddar & mozzarella three cheese sauce and lobster tail
A mini trio of All Star burger champions: The King Pin, BBQ Pulled Pork and Buttermilk Fried Chicken

Dessert: Salted chocolate fudge brownie, M&M’s cheesecake shot & a key lime pie shot

Sides: Greatest food hybrid ever. Skinny fries topped with pepperoni and basil marinara sauce, grilled mozzarella and pepperoni crisps

Love this bowling venue! Abit smaller than its sister venue in Bloomsbury but its got great atmosphere. Full of game playing, bit of bowling, bit of pool, bit of chicken wings! Perfect!

Loved the cocktails! I've been to all the All Star Lanes venues and what i loved was the consistency. My fave cocktail is the all star lanes martini! Must try!

Little bit hidden on the hipster brick lane with a very american vibe. The place has two different bars downstairs, one with food, one just for drinks. The bowling is reasonably priced for east London (£8/person/game) and people are pretty friendly. The only thing, the whole place smells a bit rusty and looks bit old. Could use a little uplift.

Unfortunately, All Star Lanes won't be getting all stars from me (yes, I went there) and it had nothing to do with the fact I scored zero in the first six rounds.

I went with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day, in an attempt to find a fun, less soppy way to celebrate the occasion. Understandably, it was busy, yet the staff couldn't handle the amount of bookings. Stress came across as rudeness and although I am sure (well, hope) this isn't the standard every weekend, it meant the start of our day was unpleasant. When we got bowling, half an hour after our scheduled slot, you can't help enjoy the lights, music and fun atmosphere. But when two games for two people comes to over £30, and you are being reminded of your game limit frequently, you find yourself taking an age to select your bowling bowl merely to drag out the process, justifying the sky-high prices.

The restaurant brightens up the experience somewhat. The food reflects the American theme and boasts classic diner dishes with a twist. Burgers with a variety of inventive toppings, 4 cheese Mac n Cheese (super creamy and indulgent)  buttermilk friend chicken which is succulent and crispy, served with a chipotle mayo which adds a welcome kick. The selection of non alcoholic cocktails was also refreshingly extensive and tasty.

Maybe with a bigger group of people for a more booze fuelled/ flashing the cash affair, All Star Lanes would come into its own. But my first experience fell short of my expectations and I won't be returning in a rush.

Came here for the turkey christmas burger as part of my self-imposed Christmas burger challenge. On my lunch break, the Friday before Christmas. This was probably not the best thing to do. It was quite crowded in the restaurant but I was quickly seated at the bar.

The Christmas burger was pretty fantastic. Lovely turkey deep fried with some stuffing interspersed amongst it. The cranberry sauce I thought held a lovely bite to it, and really paired well with the juicy turkey. The pig in the blanket on top was a lovely touch. Paired with fries and GRAVY for dipping (why places that serve turkey burger and NOT serve gravy on the side is beyond me)-- this was a pretty epic (and pretty pricey) £14 lunch. Their normal burgers sounded pretty good and were much more reasonably priced for lunch, so unless you have the mission for turkey, maybe have a go at one of those!

It was a rainy Sunday in August and myself and some friends were looking for something to do that didn't involve a boozy session in the pub! So we made a last minute booking for a late lunch and a couple of games of bowling at All Star Lanes. They were very flexible, we moved our bowling time twice during our meal, and we decided to play an extra game which was no problem. The venue was super cool, I think they must have had a refurb recently, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good, especially the super crunchy, delicious sweet potato fries. Bowling was fun, with a barman on hand to serve you drinks during the game.

All in all - a perfect Sunday afternoon. The only reason they don't get the full 5 stars is they overcharged us for the bowling. So make sure you check your bill!

This is the perfect place to hang out with friends or go on a date. On Mondays they even do a deal where you can do two games of bowling for £10 per person. Otherwise the bowling can get pretty pricey. I've never had the food, but the beer is really good and there are so many areas where you can sit and hang out without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is very relaxed and especially now with their "summer" theme everyone working there seems like they're in a good mood. They even have a lobster roll on their current menu that I've been dying to try. I personally like that you can set up a tab for your drinks so you don't have to worry about drinks if you change where you're sitting in the place. I've never tried the karaoke there, but that's next on my list.

All Star Lanes has finally had a refurb. Well actually the decor is exactly the same, but they have had a massive menu overhaul and the staff have had some kind of personality transformation. Gone are the angsty waitresses plonking dodgy slabs of meat ("burgers" they say) on your table at extortionate prices. No more are there Nazi bowling attendees tick-tocking in your ears whilst you eat to make sure you rapidly move on to your lane. Instead everything is lot more easy-going and tastier - I thought I'd ironically try the swordfish and it was actually pretty decent. Not a bowling fan? Try the (soundproofed) karaoke booth - actually a lot less humiliating for someone as mal-coordinated as myself.
