This place reminded me of the avocado restaurant in Amsterdam called the avocado show, where you guessed it the whole menu is full of all things avocado! So if you don't like these slimy green things then definitely stay away. However, for those that love them, you have to visit this place. The interiors are not what I expected at all and loved the natural wooden look. It beautifully complimented the menu, serving healthy treats, snacks and smoothies. This is a great spot for a light lunch or brunch, catching up with friends or even a date. Its cosy, but still open, and had great service and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend trying the avoburger which was a delicious bean patty served between an avocado instead of bread buns. The guac and tortilla chips were also tasty and super fresh. Great concept for a restaurant, a little on the pricey side but a great experience overall.

My sister and I visited this cute little Covent Garden pop up for lunch one rainy Sunday afternoon. The food was absolutely superb and tasted both fresh and flavoursome! All the dishes were beautifully presented and served to us promptly. The warm service was excellent and all the staff were lovely! With dishes on the menu to suit everyone, this place is a must go for any avocado lover. We will definitely be coming back!

Avobar is the stuff made of legends for those dedicated to the slimy green veg. I have a friend who is obsessed and heck we order it all the time anyway so we thought we might as well go to avocado heaven. First appearances were that it was less hipster and more minimalist than I was first expecting. We were eating in the downstairs area which didn’t have that much atmosphere going on, just a few white tables and chairs, some plants and a whole wall dedicated to baby avocados growing in jars. Definitely more of a lunch spot, the menu drew me in on a salad which is very rare. It offered a whole host of lovely ingredients such as perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, sweet corn, prawns and avocado shaped as a rose for a centrepiece- sure you wouldn’t expect any less. We also had tacos to share amongst three which were OK.

I also treated myself to a tumeric latte which was also OK but looked better in my Instagram feed than it tasted unfortunately.

A nice pop up but nothing crazy to write home about as the menu is quite small and there’s not a lot of creativity with the dishes. There’s plenty of other cafes in London serving avocado in more basic but appetising ways.
