This popular Indian restaurant has been thrilling locals with its creative cooking since 1985. The menu includes such starter treats as pan-seared mackerel with apple and coriander salsa, and tamarind-glazed quail breast, and impressive mains like steamed, spice-crusted shoulder of lamb marinated for 100 hours in a spicy Punjabi masala, served with beetroot khichdi and lamb jus.

One of my favourite restaurants in London!! Best rosewater mint mocktails ever!!!!

Excellent food from a varied and adventurous menu. Served by friendly staff in a cosy contemporary setting.

Possibly the best restaurant in the universe, classy and with proper options for us vegetarians that don't make us feel like an afterthought. If they ever get bored of their fibreglass tiger (they support tiger conservation too) I want it!

Amazing, gourmet food and great service - truly a cut above other Indian restaurants.

Always packed, beautiful innovative food. Try and sit in the front as it has more atmosphere.

Nestled away in an unassuming street between Honor Oak and Forest Hill, or is it even Brockley...? (It's SE23 so Forest Hill has it, I reckon) is this gem of an Indian restaurant. They have a GIANT TIGER outside.

That aside, it's by far one of the most unique Indian dining experiences in London, you can feast on buffalo, if you're that way inclined, goat or just good old fashioned lentils. The prices are a bit more than your usual Indian fayre, but this isn't any usual Indian feast. There's also a vast Sunday buffet on offer at this branch, and a slightly cheaper priced takeaway outlet up at Crofton Park (actually Brockley - south east London just likes to mess with all your minds...)
