I’ve had many lovely coffee and cakes in Benugos around the town over the years. I love sitting at a bench by the window people watching. I specifically remember enjoying holding a red ceramic coffee cup during many of my former visits. Sadly, this branch not only doesn’t offer real cups, cutlery or plates to eat-in, they will also serve you a cake in a half plastic bag even when you stay in and stress you’re trying to avoid non-recyclable materials. On my weekend visit my seedy muffin was stale, clearly must have been sitting in the fringe for at least a day. It’s nice they sent me a birthday voucher, shame I couldn’t enjoy it.

One of my favourite sandwich places in Covent Garden. Great choice of freshly made sandwiches on offer ready for toasting. The staff are highly attentive and if you can stand the pressure of being asked what you'd like the moment you cross the threshold, you'll reap the rewards of a delicious lunch. There are always some salads and soup options on offer but the real stars of the show are the range of wraps, paninis, bloomers and a hot daily special. One place to count on for a tasty lunch prepared at light speed.

I popped in to this branch of Benugo's to grab some breakfast. Choice and quality are good. I was surprised and delighted when paying as the manager decided to give me the coffee for free. Spot promotion. Great service.
