This Fulham barbecue spot is one of seven Bodean's venues now in London. Their speciality is meat – and lots of it.

Most of the meat is cooked over oak, in a smoke pit, with big slabs of ribs, burnt ends, sharing platters and combos of pulled pork, half-chickens and smoked sausages the kinds of thing on offer. Burgers, hot dogs, chargrilled steaks, jerk chicken and cajun swordfish also prove popular.

The drinks list includes classic cocktails, a short selection of wines and a good range of British and US craft beer.

Bodean's is such a staple BBQ eatery in London and for all the right reasons. I really enjoy going for a pig out with the BF, ordering the sharing platter and tucking into gigantic beef ribs, succulent smoked chicken and the best naughty sides.

The daily offers are great with the Bodean's card.. cocktails, money off your bill, free desserts it is fantastic!

Inexpensive and filling meat options here, of every kind. We opted for pulled pork and enchiladas, though the ribs and wings are what they are known for. This branch is pretty small, but at 7pm on a Saturday we were seated immediately. The restaurant is very hot, even with the air con on, so it might now be a good date option! However, the  place has a relaxed vibe and friendly staff, and overs a huge variety of options for under a tenner.

Amazing food, ribs, steak, burgers! I recommend getting a meat platter and sharing that! One of my favourite places to eat and pig out! hahah go early as there is always queues and you might have to wait 30 min. Such good food!

Amazing meat. The ribs are delicious, my partner prefers the pulled pork and burnt ends. Their sauces are great, and their chilli con queso dip with tortilla chips to start is just to die for - absolutely delicious.

Wow, just wow!  If you’re a fan of well-cooked meat, this is the place for you.  The quality of the food is amazing.  We had eyes bigger than our stomach and ordered the platter for two - we struggled to eat everything, but were ultimately successful!  The staff are very friendly and accommodating.  It can get very crammed so be warned that you will be in very close proximity to other diners.

i love bodeans i always go there and have the jacobs ladder ribs and i nom my heart out and all you peeps that say its less than 5* is on shrooms

I love Bodeans and generally visit the Fulham one due it being near my house. I find the food quite consistent, especially the Pulled pork, coleslaw spare and jacob's Ladder ribs (which are what makes Bodeans for me). The food is why I give it 5 stars. Especially as US Kansas style fare is still pretty rare in London. The portions are decent as well. The service is variable -never bad but not always excellent. Some of the staff are very friendly, others are more neutral. The restaurant itself is far too small. Its a bit cramped and really for the level of custom at peak times it often gets insufficent. Its also a bit dark but the style is generally fun in a kitschy way. At all costs I would say avoid it during Chelsea home matches as their stadium is very near; that is unless you enjoy a drunken 'chavtastic' carnival (this applies to the whole of Fulham Broadway on 'match days') -and that's coming from a Glaswegian

As a regular at Bodean's tower hill I was disappointed with their Fulham branch. No complaints about the quality of the food which was consistent, my BBQ platter was however short of the usual baby back ribs but what stood out most in my mind was the terrible service. Most of the waiting staff I have no complaints about, the hostess however was rude and unaccommodating, didn't make us feel in the least bit welcome and us coming to the restaurant was an inconvenience. While I would strongly advise a visit to Bodean's, I would not advise you go to Fulham.
