This Hammersmith restaurant and bar pays culinary homage to the hakka people living in what today is Mumbai. They made their way from China to settle in Bombay, influencing the food there and allowing it to influence their own.

Thus Indo-Chinese dishes feature most prominently on the menu, with options including man chow soup, kung pao potato, pepper chilli paneer and hakka chicken - a classic fusion dish of boneless chicken with chilli, garlic and soy. Traditional Chinese dishes also feature - think szechuan chicken, beef with oyster sauce or lamb in black bean sauce.

A short wine list leans on the old world, with four of the bottles available by the glass. Beers follow the restaurant's theme, with Kingfisher and Cobra alongside Tsingtao.

First time we've tried Indo-Chinese in London and it was certainly an education. The menu was informative about the derivation of the cuisine. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon with a mixture of large and small groups. The food was presented well and was tasty. The Chicken Lollypop proved immensely popular. The place was extremely family friendly and the waiting staff were very good with the children in our party.

Excellent Food & Drinks!!

We've been craving Authentic Indo Chinese food for a while and finally managed to get some in

our neighbourhood. The starters of chicken lollipop just reminded you of Mumbai, their recommended

Tai Pai Prawns was truly delicious. You have to try one of their Sizzlers for main course, the Triple  Szechuan is top draw. For desserts I was sceptical about the Kulfi Baked Alaska ? But they pulled it off

real well and lit it on the table.

It was a super experience will come back soon to try out more..
