Fantastic fresh baguettes and you have to try the cinnamon buns! Finally found a place to buy real bread, not that styrofoam like stuff from the supermarket. Thanks guys, keep up the good bread!

It's not often you have a quick lunchtime sandwich and think "omg this sandwich is so good I need to message someone about it" but that's exactly what happened when I went to Bread by Bike. Tucked away in a dreary lifeless area this little gem has really perked up my work time lunch breaks. It's totally worth the 15 minute walk. It's predominantly a bakery so sandwich choices are limited to perhaps 2 or 3 options which change regularly. My fav is still that first one with smashed butternut squash, rocket, feta and pomegranate in the softest tastiest sourdough bread. It was an absolute delight! They sell a range of sourdough loaves (unfortunately no slicing machine) as well as sweet baked treats and a nice little brunch menu. It's also ideal to sit with your laptop and do your thing for an hour or two.
