The Shoreditch branch of Bukowski
Bukowski's Brixton original was such a success they decided to showcase their wares in Shoreditch, too. And those wares work just the same here, with the burgers and sides (no ribs here, sadly) getting dude food pretty much down.
Keep an eye out for the usually-pretty-good burger of the month, served alongside a Californian (Hereford beef patty with lettuce, chipotle mayo, Monterey Jack, bacon, tomato, red onion and avocado), a red 'n' blue (with blue cheese, red onion chutney, lettuce and mayo) and a 'purist' - a straight up patty and bun with tomatoes, lettuce and mayo.
Outside of the burgers there are brioche buns, toasted and filled with smoked and pulled pork shoulder, barbecue and mustard mayo, smoked pickled gherkins, spiced apple sauce and coleslaw. Sides include chilli cheese chips, triple cooked chips and a Waldorf coleslaw. Bottles of craft beer and cider feature, too.

awful burgers - unsalted lacklustre chips (skinny fries they were not) with weird sauces - ordered through deliveroo - meat was tough, overdone and they mixed the burger fillings up. the cheese burger came with bacon and the Californian came with the no bacon, no avocado no onions...and the pickle that was meant to be on the cheese burger.. come on guys. hache, meat mission need not worry.
I went there after work last Thursday. If you like burguers, this place is a MUST. They also have some specialities, we tried Cochinita pibil and is just brilliant. Burguer + chips + beer for less than 12 pounds and all first quality!
Had a burger yesterday and it was very good the real charcoal really helps the flavour. I will recommend it to friends. Their sauces sauces and the breads are very very good. Home-made Lemonade is reminiscent of Franco Manca (good but not reaching the stratospheric level of the original, but now everybody is forced to make their own). It is the size of phone box, I came a few days earlier with ann xxxL friend who refused to enter: "I am not going to fit in there! " Probably true. Another downside are the plastic cups. Best chips in town by a long shot. They make a with Iberico cured bacon and black pudding (I have not tried this yet but sounds interesting).
Had a meal for my birthday today with a couple of friends and had an amazing meal! I had a Mother F burger with large fries and it was cooked perfect and the chips super tasty( cooked in beef dripping so probably not that healthy...). The cheese burger with stilton and red onion chutney was great and even their veggie burger was excellent. We had to bring our own beer since they dont have a license yet , but apperently its coming soon so I will be back for some Pulled pork and beer.
Half way through burger and had to review this: chips - crispy perfection , burgers - premium ingredients , staff - prompt and friendly. An ideal burger corner store. Will def be back. So good I ate too fast. Only thing missing is a bed.
