Café Bangla first opened its doors in 1990 and it has since become a Brick Lane favourite, possibly as much for its unusual décor (fantasy paintings on the wall, plus a large image of Princess Di) as its food. The menu offers a mix of classic curries, and Assamese specialities, plus a large selection of grilled and tandoori meats.
